So in partnership with our Dhangadhi GSA, RAAIKA Tours and Travels,Tiger Mountain Nepal and District Road Support Programme, we have launched our pilot Green Project. For every passenger flying on the Kathmandu-Dhangadhi-Kathmandu and Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Kathmandu sector,we will plant a suitable tree in one of the chosen community forests in the various rural areas of Nepal.

More about our Green Far-West Project Our commitment:

One suitable tree will be planted in the community forests of Dhangadhi, Rajpur, Doti, Kailali, Baitadi, Bardia and Kanchanpur regions of Nepal for every seat we sell on the Kathmandu-Dhangadhi-Kathmandu and Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Kathmandu sector.Hence, if you fly on a one way ticket, we will plant one tree in yourbehalf and if you fly two way, we will plant two trees.

Our goal:

Our Green Project has run successfully since its initiation. We've reached our target but the process of revitalizing our earth is a never ending process. So, keeping that in mind we are still determined and thriving on making our planet even greener.

How we contribute:

We will set aside; from the air fare of each passenger; sufficient funds to plant a tree and ensure that a tree is planted for every passenger flown in this sector. Details of the trees planted will be updated in our website on a monthly basis. Interested passengers will be allowed to visit the plantation sites.

Project Areas:

This carbon offsetting scheme is a pilot project that will be initially implemented in the Far Western region of Nepal.The project is now extebded to Bardia and Baitadi District, with your support we can extend the project in other parts of the country.Together let's accomplish our vision to extend the programme in other parts of the country as well.
