Eight of the world's tallest mountains and the world's oldest Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites are located in Nepal. Nepal offers unparalleled adventure options with abundance in flora and fauna. After breakfast, we transfer to the domestic airport for your 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. This spectacular flight offers views of the Langtang, Manasalu and Annapurna ranges. 

After arrival in Pokhara airport we will board our connecting flight to Jomsom. The flight takes you above the forested area of Ghorepani then over the Kali Gandaki Valley in between the Dhaulagiri range in the west and the Annapurna massif in the east.

Upon arrival in Jomsom, check-in at the resort which is located at a High Himalayan settlement of Thakali speaking people. At 2800 m, the resort is among the few places in Nepal where giant Himalayan peaks can be admired safely and yet at such close proximity. About 500 feet below the resort is the Kali Gandaki River which flows downstream to form the deepest gorge in the world. 

After the lunch at the resort, excursion to nearby villages. At first, visit Shyang Village where you can visit the Buddhist monastery and continue towards Marpha Village and have our lunch here and in the late afternoon, back to the resort.

After breakfast, we ride through the main Jomsom area through the movement of locals and bus and Jeeps heading towards Muktinath and some towards Lomanthang. We take the gravel road through the bumpy ride to a temporary parking area below the Lupra Valley. We leave our Jeep and walk for about 10 minutes we visit the beautiful Bon village of Lupra. “Lupra valley” the part of Tibetan Plateau commonly known as “Roof of the world” and world’s highest and largest plateau amazes you with its enchanting beauty and even the dry looking feature of the valley looks out of the world landscape. And the view of some of the tallest mountain as you climb up is like icing on the cake. After visiting Lupra valley, we descend down to Jomsom.

Afternoon, we hike up to the Dhumba Lake. We walk to the lake which lies at the elevation of 2830 m. Also known as the Emerald Lake, this is one of the hidden gem of the region and the distance to this lake from our resort is about 6 kms and we it take roughly 2 hrs. hike to reach here. The lake is a beautiful, clear water lake at the base of Mt. Nilgiri and is considered as a sacred Buddhist lake. We return back to our resort via Thini Village which is about 30 minutes away from Dhumba Lake.

Today we will head out for Chuksang. The trail passes through the mix of high trail and riverbank with the endless stretch of sand to the village of Tangbe. The village is a labyrinth of narrow alleys, fields of buckwheat and barley and apple orchards with the view of Nilgiri Peak on the back. We will reach Chuksang village which lies at the confluence of the Narshing Khola (River) and Kali Gandaki River. We explore the village here and have lunch here. 
After lunch, we drive further through the steep hills of Dajori La and further up to Samar at the elevation of 3945 m. We arrive at Ghiling village where we spend our night in the local lodge.

We visit the Ranchung Cave in Ghilling which is considered one of the holiest places in Mustang. 
Inside the cave you can see stone carved figurines of various deities. The figurine of Padmasambhava is the most prominent among all the figurines.
Return to the lodge and rest for the afternoon.

Today we drive to Lo Manthang visiting Charang Monastery en route which lies in the Charang village which has numerous stupa structures, a monastery and a fortress. We further drive towards Lo Manthang visiting the Ghar Gompa which is another important monastery along the way to the mystical land of Lo.

Today, we drive towards the Chosar cave to visit this amazing ancient dwellings of the people. The interesting cave depicts how the ancient people used this place as a protections from animals and Khampa warriors. Return to lodge and in the afternoon, we visit the mystical land of the walled city of Lomanthang.

After breakfast we drive back all the way to Jomsom. This 6 hrs of drive back to Jomsom takes us back through all the way from where we drove up here giving us a different view of the landscape that we might have not noticed while driving up to Lomanthang.

Take an early flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and then take a connecting flight to Kathmandu. 

On arrival in Kathmandu, we’ll transfer to hotel. Then you have free time to relax or head into the city. We find most people want to simply unwind and enjoy the hotel facilities – whatever you choose, we’ll help!

Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport. The airport checks in is 3 hours prior to the departure time and the hotel checkout time is 12PM. In case our flight is late evening please let us know if you require half day use of the hotel.
